Wil King Hog Happenin’ Sponsorship GENERAL INFORMATION SHEET
Hog Happenin’ PIG SPONSORSHIP - $360.00
Includes:
- 110-120 pound pig delivered by the Hog Happenin’ Committee to a Wil King Hog Happenin’ cook team on
April 25, 2008 around 10:00 p.m.
- 8 -Complementary BBQ plate tickets for you to enjoy on April 26 at the Festival on the Neuse.
- 1 -Sponsor identification sign that will include your business name at the cook team’s site.
- Recognition on the Kinston-Lenoir County Festival on the Neuse website.
- Recognition in the Chamber’s Business Update Newsletter that is published in The Free Press.
- Stage recognition by the emcee during the Festival.
Co-Sponsorship is allowed but is limited to no more than two (2) business or individuals per pig.
You will be responsible for securing your co-sponsor.
If you want to sponsor a particular cook team, please indicate the name of the team. |

Rules and Regulations
As a Sponsor/Cook Team you will be responsible for:
- Fuel,
sauces, cookers, expenses etc. needed to prepare the pig.
- Securing your own pig cooker.
- Removal of the pig cooker and any equipment used during the pig-cooking contest by 4:00 p.m.
on April 26, 2008 from the Festival site.
The Chamber will not be responsible for cookers and equipment left at
the Festival site
- A cook team of one to four persons. More than 4 people are not permitted.
- All cash prizes will be given to the Chief Cook.
